Sally was made an Associate of AMINZ. Dispute resolution in the 21st century includes mediation as an increasingly popular means by which parties can resolve their differences. In 2012 Sally McMillan completed her NZ Law Society training in mediation, specialising in family law disputes. Sally has subsequently become a member of the NZ Family Law Section approved Panel of Mediators, and has been appointed to the NZLS panel to mediate complaints about lawyers.

In May, Sally was delighted to further her mediation credentials by succeeding in her application to become an Associate of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of NZ (AAMINZ).
