Penny is another born and bred Dunedinite and studied history and politics at the University of Otago. After spending the past 12 years in the events and business events sector, Penny made the move to McMillan&Co. for a better work-life balance. A move she is grateful to have made and is enjoying the tight-knit and welcoming team dynamic after having worked in a large organisation.

Penny also moonlights as the dance reviewer for the Otago Daily Times. A side gig that takes her to a fantastic array of performances and has done ever since her first go at reviewing in 2011, which was the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s Sleeping Beauty.

Outside of work, Penny enjoys reading, her small, but growing art collection, cooking, entertaining and catching up with friends and hanging out with her tailless tabby cat Lucca. Lucca is not a Manx, she lost her tail in an accident.
