Robbie Rocks / Burns Night

For a number of years now McMillan&Co. has been a proud sponsor of “Robbie Rocks". For the uninitiated, Robbie Rocks is an annual Dunedin competition held as part of Burns Night, in which contestants are required to take a Robbie Burns classic song and reinterpret it for a modern audience.

Held at Toitu, the annual Burns Night is organised by the Dunedin Burns club to celebrate the poets birthday on 25 January each year.

In 2019 Burns night will be held as the opening event of the University of Otago’s 150th anniversary celebrations, and McMillan&Co. looks forward to its ongoing association with this iconic event on Dunedin’s social calendar.
