October 2016 marked the 30th Anniversary of the formation of the Otago Woman Lawyers Society OWLS.
McMillan&Co. lawyers have a long association with OWLS. Our Principal, Sally McMillan, was among a handful of women lawyers involved with OWLS at its inception, and has served as both Secretary and Convenor. Our Associate Val Farrow is a long-serving committee member and was involved in organising the anniversary gala dinner.
Sally was honoured to be asked by OWLS to address the dinner and to share the stage with the guest speaker - Dame Sylvia Cartwright OWLS-Speech.pdf.
